While the people, land and animals of Gaza have not.
My question - Will I be adding Ostara and Easter to the list?
Another season I survive and the people, land and animals of Gaza do not.
In my work I often work with the unseen behind the seen.
A dearly loved friend and highly honored and respected colleague, RAQ, once taught me the importance of saying “I do not consent”.
So.
I Do Not Consent
To the purposeful destruction and desecration of Palestinian life, history and culture
To the use of my tax dollars for this purpose
To the purposeful attempt of the ‘powers that be’ to misdirect my value of the sanctity of human, land and animal life to a political agenda
To the purposeful ploy of media to block, shadow and hide views that are in direct opposition of the established political agenda
As if political agenda trumps the sanctity of human, land and animal life.
I do not consent.
