Animals have a lot to say and when we listen to them, we can be the beneficiary of their wisdom. But we humans don’t often think of it like that: after all, we’re the humans – don’t we know best and aren’t we supposed to be the caretakers?
When you’ve taken your first steps into the world of animal communication, all of the sudden your perspective begins to change. You take off your ‘human viewpoint only’ lenses and start experiencing the world through the reference point of the animal to whom you’re connecting.
Yes, you’re bound to hear how the animal is feeling, their likes and dislikes and what their thoughts are on how a certain situation or another being is affecting them. You’ll also hear their wit and wisdom. And do not doubt for one second that animals possess an insight and wisdom that is different and at times more far ranging and encompassing than our own knowledge and sensibilities.
For instance, my now-Angel Horse Shiloh once said:
“Tell people not to limp along with their animal communication skills. Now is the time for people to really learn to talk to animals, and to listen to us, too. We have much to share. But people limp along, they’re afraid to try, they don’t trust themselves. Now is the time, though, for people to talk to us……People and horses would work together in pairs. It would be a good combination, if only people would learn to trot, and not limp along. Read more here.
Now doesn’t that make just a whole lot of sense?
To expound on Shiloh’s statement, it’s important that we connect with the animals because we co-habit the earth together and they are our neighbors. And it’s only good, common sense to get along with your neighbors, regardless of species. Why wouldn’t we want to connect with them and learn how to mutually co-exist and help each other? I can’t think of a good reason, can you?
