Let Your Inner Communicator Shine Through!

That’s the ‘official’ heading I use for my animal communication classes. I like it, in my opinion it says a lot, but I thought you might like to see some of the unofficial, behind the scenes things that take place in putting the class together.

For instance, I’m not the only instructor in the class. What would an animal communication class be without having animal professors? So here is the team:

Your equine instructor – Shiloh

In other words, you will be receiving information straight from the horse’s mouth.

Shiloh is a Professor Emeritus, also an Angel Animal, having crossed the Rainbow Bridge in December, 2015.

Your feline instructor – Raven
Black cat portrait RavenMeet Raven and his bug. Raven did not pounce on this bug nor try to play with him/her, but simply stood beside Bug, for most of the day. Raven has asked to help people in the animal communication classes. Here’s what he has said:

“I like people in my own way. I am very much aware of them, what they are doing, how they are feeling. I am also very much aware of how their actions and feelings affect others, humans or animals. Most people are oblivious to this.

I am not interested in teaching animal communication like Shiloh does. I want to support people as they are learning animal communication. I feel that is my strong point: knowing what’s going on with people and supporting them as best I can. But, like Shiloh, if you would like my support, you must ask me. I will not go where I am not invited”.

Lord_of_the_Rings_Fellowship_CastAnyone who knows me knows I am a Lord of the Rings groupie. I have the extended version of the DVD, simply because there is no other version, at least to my way of thinking. I have always thought that being a part of the creative team that brought that story to life would be the. best. job. ever. Maybe even better than being an animal communicator? Well, I don’t know about that, but it would still be a heckuva fun gig.

So it should come as no surprise to anyone that when I was writing the curriculum for the class I managed to work in a quote from The Fellowship of the Ring:

Listening to animals, listening to all creation, is our natural state of being, yet this natural state has been lost in the annals of time. The video “The Lord of the Rings” describes this so well when it says:

“Some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend, legend became myth, and for two and a half thousand years the ring fell out of all knowledge.”

Substitute “listening” for “the ring” in the above quote and you will begin to understand how the skill of listening has been dismissed and lost to our world.

Finally, I truly enjoy receiving feedback from students. Imagine my surprise and the laughter when I received this from one of my students!
