How much are your fees? Do you do the consultations over the phone?? I live in Tennessee

      Hi Sherri,
Good morning! Yes, I do consultations over the phone, and if you like you can even receive a free recording of the communication. Send me an email at and I’ll send you the information. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, Janet — we connected once a while ago on Twitter, but I wondered if you could tell me how to set up an animal communication call with you? There is nothing immediately obvious on your site for that, that I can see, though I was really pleased to find that you are also a gifted violinist engaged in music therapy when I googled for your name.

I’m having a litter box issue with my 13-year-old diabetic cat, Betsey, that I hope you can communicate with her about. I’ve tried, but so far, am not able to get through to her. Maybe because she’d rather not be bothered. Thanks so much. Laurel Marshfield

      Hi Laura,
I am sorry it was a challenge to connect! I will rectify that for the future, and I thank you for your persistence. I will have my assistant Jodi connect with you regarding that information.

It can be the hardest to connect with our own crew, since we are emotionally attached to them. I have my own list of communicators I use for my 4 leggeds when needed.

      Talk soon,

Betsey does tell me when there’s something she WANTS, but when it’s something I’d prefer . . . well, another story. She’s a sweety, though, regardless. Thanks so much for replying. I’ll look forward to talking with you soon.

      Hi Laurel,
Welcome to the world of animal communication – I am learning more and more each day there’s a lot of negotiating involved! 😉
      Talk soon,

Hi, My name is Susan and we have 2 black labs and 2 horses. Do you make house calls? There are some specific things about all of our animals that we would like to know.
    Thank you!

    • Janet December 15, 2010 at 10:23 am #

      Hi Susan,
Thanks for connecting and leaving your question here! I am located in MN, so I do sometimes make housecalls. However, with animal communication, it’s usually not necessary to make house calls. You can compare it to me writing to you now: I am not in the same location you are, but we’re still receiving information from each other. I will email you information regarding animal communication sessions. If you haven’t done so already, check out this Talk2theAnimals post on How Animal Communication Works.

    Hello Janet,
I just joined the mailing list and am beginning to navigate my way through all the great information on animal communication. I keep seeing a link about creating a “circle of listening” when starting a practice session but when I click on it, it’s kind of a dead end. I’ve also tried searching here but nothing pops up.
Could you explain what the “circle of listening” is and how to create it? Thanks in advance!!
    Emily Ley-Shiley
